The confirmed Newcastle team v Brentford has now been announced.
Newcastle United looking to progress into the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
Wins over Forest, AFC Wimbledon and Chelsea, having taken Eddie Howe’s side into the last eight.
United are up against a Brentford team who defeated them 4-2 eleven days ago, at the GTech Community Stadium.
However, Newcastle United have been excellent in their recent home matches against Liverpool and Leicester, whilst the Bees have the worst away record in the Premier League.
If Newcastle can play to the levels they showed at St James’ Park in those Liverpool and Leicester matches, then an excellent chance that NUFC will be in the hat on Thursday night.
Newcastle United team v Brentford:
Dubravka, Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Murphy, Isak, Gordon
So no changes, the same eleven who hammered Leicester.
Subs:
Vlachodimos, Trippier, Targett, Osula, Almiron, Kelly, Barnes, Willock, Lewis Miley
The only change on the bench is Lewis Miley for the suspended Sean Longstaff
