The first edition of the Taça Sul took place from 12 to 13 October 2024, at the PSG Academy Florianopolis, in Jurerê.

The event was a great success, bringing together 149 athletes from the PSG Academy centres in Curitiba, Florianópolis, Itapema, Praia Brava, Caxias do Sul and Porto Alegre. The involvement of the players, the emotion of the supporters and the commitment of the technical and organisational teams made this a unique experience.

The competition saw U8, U9 and U10 teams from the participating centres compete against each other, putting into practice all the work they had done in training at the Jurerê Sports Centre complex. The Taça Sul not only encouraged the development of the athletes on the pitch, but also strengthened the links with their families and friends, providing a great learning environment for the students in the PSG Academy programme.

The event was marked by great enthusiasm from players and supporters alike, thanks in particular to the presence of Germain, the club's mascot. The competition ended with a total of 223 goals, in a happy and communal atmosphere.
