The England international is exceptional in the physical side of the game, and in possession, he is an elite player in his own right. Also, another report indicates that City are pushing ahead with negotiations with Nottingham Forest to sign Elliot Anderson. Manchester City are seemingly now pushing to secure a big signing as quickly as possible in what looms as an important summer for the club.

Bailey also reports that talks between City and Nottingham Forest are actively underway over a deal that will see Elliot Anderson sign for City. Furthermore, Bailey reports that City are eager to complete the signing of Elliot Anderson ahead of this summer’s World Cup. It is also reported that Nottingham Forest believes that Elliot Anderson should command an extravagant transfer fee. Lastly, Bailey reports that City are willing to beat their current record transfer fee to complete the signing of Elliot Anderson. Manchester City’s record transfer fee is the £100 million they paid Aston Villa to sign Jack Grealish in the summer of 2021.

Given how big this upcoming summer transfer window is for Manchester City, it is no surprise to learn that City are moving quickly to attempt to sign Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest. Anderson’s stock has risen throughout this season.
