Juventus will likely target Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson if they can sell Dusan Vlahovic according to The Telegraph.

Jackson has seen his future questioned following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, with the latter in particular making an instant impact.

For the first time in his Chelsea career Jackson now faces genuine competition for his starting place, and it will be interesting to see how he responds.

Juventus likely to move for Jackson if they sell Vlahovic

Jackson had a disappointing Club World Cup campaign in which he failed to score, got sent off against Flamengo and was an unused substitute in the final.

There’s plenty of interest in the 24-year-old, with AC Milan said to be admirers, although a deal will likely be too expensive for the Italians.

Newcastle are said to value Jackson at around £65m, although it’s believed Chelsea value the Senegal international at £80-£100m.

Manchester United and Aston Villa have also held interest in Jackson, and The Telegraph have now reported another club is interested in the Senegalese.

The report states Juventus will likely move for Jackson if they can offload Vlahovic, and sources believe they could be able to offer around £60m for the striker, whilst Jackson’s wages wouldn’t be an issue.

However, it’s also been reported Jackson wants to stay and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, and it’s certainly a situation to keep an eye on throughout the remainder of the window.

Chelsea close to reaching agreement with Emegha

Whilst Jackson’s future is up in the air, Chelsea are reportedly close to reaching an agreement on personal terms with Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha.

The 22-year-old would likely join the Blues next summer, and he scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season as Strasbourg qualified for the Conference League.

What Chelsea’s potential plan for Emegha would be isn’t clear, but the Dutch under-21 international could be taking the next big step in his career next summer.
