Thiago Scuro still in place at Monaco amid supporter unrest and cost-cutting rebuild

Supporters may have called for his resignation after a poor campaign, but Monaco director general Thiago Scuro remains in post, steering a cost-cutting drive through a vast summer window.

According to L'Équipe, he retains the backing of president Dimitri Rybolovlev.

Wednesday eight July marked the return to the pitch at La Turbie and the presentation of new head coach Filipe Luis, the man intended to embody Monaco's renewal.
