CD Castellón open their 2026/27 pre-season on Monday at Ciudad Deportiva La Coma, with three B-team players joining initial sessions. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, Pablo Hernández has called up goalkeeper Iván Biarge, defender Iago Parente and midfielder Enric Gisbert.
Castellón B return to Segunda RFEF this season after purchasing a place. Biarge and Parente only arrived this summer.
Biarge, born in 2003, arrives from Terrassa and is noted for his reflexes, reach, aerial assurance and comfort with the ball, a trait Hernández wants in his side. Working with the first team offers his first major showcase since joining SkyFi Castalia. Barring any surprises, he will be the B-team starter this year, with Sergi Torner stepping up to the first team.
Parente, born in 2006, was announced on Sunday after a strong stint with Real Valladolid Promesas. He played around 30 Segunda RFEF matches last season and, the year before, made his Primera División debut for Real Valladolid late in the campaign. A centre-back who can also cover right-back, he is valued for his distribution, mobility and edge in duels.
Unlike the other two, Gisbert already knows Castellón’s structure. The 2006-born midfielder made around 20 appearances for the B team in Segunda RFEF last term. He now has the chance to begin pre-season with the first team and will aim to show he can operate at a higher level.
