What better way to forget the frustration of last week's defeat than with a win in the upcoming big game? This Saturday, we face reigning champions SK Sturm Graz with the clash taking place at our home in the Red Bull Arena!
The Graz outfit have also suffered a few setbacks lately. Jürgen Säumel's XI are currently only fifth with one game in hand, and they suffered their second defeat of the season against Austria Vienna last weekend. Sturm also struggled for a long time in the second round of the cup against fourth-tier Röthis, before making the round of 16 with an unspectacular 2-0 win.
Both teams are therefore particularly keen to make a statement in the upcoming clash and collect three crucial points to help their jostle for positions at the top – in our case also because we've been defeated in the last two matches against Sturm. The visitors face some availability issues for Saturday, as key man Otar Kiteishvili missed the last two matches due to a thigh injury.
Excitement is guaranteed this weekend, and with home advantage, we should be able to secure another win. Tickets are still available in our Online Ticket Shop for those who haven't yet secured their seats. As always, everything you need to know about your visit to the stadium can be found here:

We may currently be second in the table, but overall we're not satisfied with how our last few games have gone. Therefore, the team are eager to show a different side in this home game and, hopefully in front of a large crowd who will support us, to show that we can do much better than we have recently. Sturm Graz has won the championship the last two years, which shows just how much quality they have. We have to prevent them from getting into their usual rhythm and instead ensure that we dictate the game.

Of course, we're excited about this game. We need to show a reaction after our last two matches. We have to try to turn things around. It will be a top game, and every footballer looks forward to those. That's how football works: you have the opportunity to quickly correct poor performances. We want to do that on Saturday and win. Victories are always good, and in big games, they're even better for morale.
