Tolu Arokodare joins Ajax on loan | OneFootball

Ajax have completed the signing of Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare from Wolves a season-long loan, with the Eredivisie club holding an option to make the move permanent next summer.

The 25-year-old arrived at Molineux from Genk last year but struggled to cement a regular starting place during a difficult campaign that ended with Wolves' relegation to the Championship. Despite featuring 38 times in all competitions, Arokodare scored six goals, including three in the Premier League.

Before moving to England, the striker had built an impressive reputation in Belgium, finishing as the Pro League's top scorer during the 2024/25 season. 

Arokodare will now look to rediscover that scoring touch with Ajax, who finished fifth in the Eredivisie last season and are aiming to qualify for the UEFA Conference League after taking a commanding 4-1 lead from the first leg against Vojvodina.
