Tigres UANL advanced on away goals over Seattle Sounders FC, 3-3 on aggregate, tying crosstown rivals CF Monterrey with eight Semifinal appearances. Tigres now ranks among the Mexican clubs with the third-most appearances at this stage in tournament history.
LAFC eliminates reigning champs
Los Angeles FC put an end to Cruz Azul’s defense, winning 4-1 on aggregate to eliminate the reigning Champions Cup winners. The series marked the second time LAFC ousted Cruz Azul from the tournament, with the first coming in the 2020 edition.
