Scienza’s Impressive Form In The EFL Championship Last Season

Scienza enjoyed a good run of form at the English club in the previous campaign when he produced a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 27-year-old banged in seven goals and grabbed ten assists in 37 matches for Southampton last season on all fronts.

The Brazilian attacker is currently among the best playmakers in his homeland. Thus, Spurs would do well to get a deal done for him this off-season.

His current contract at the St. Mary’s Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Tottenham to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Scienza is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The Brazilian sensation can chip in by scoring and creating his fair of goals up top. Scienza is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also operate as a winger on either flank if asked to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if Spurs manage to bring him on board later this year.

We can expect Scienza to improve the quality of Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting place at the North London club in the coming years.
