Tottenham Hotspur ‘to part company with’ Thomas Frank amid Leeds United relegation fight

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly sacked manager Thomas Frank after the 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United, leaving them embroiled in a relegation fight with Leeds United.
The Athletic reports Spurs have decided now is the time to part company with Frank and are drafting managerial contingency plans. Frank left Brentford last summer and has won only two of his last 17 matches, with the club five points above the drop zone.
Leeds sit above Tottenham after a 2-2 draw at Chelsea, with both having played the same number of games. Frank appears to be the seventh permanent Premier League manager dismissed this season.
Tottenham host Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday, then face Fulham, Crystal Palace and Liverpool. They have not won a league game in 2026 and have lost six times since the start of December.
Leeds are not due to visit Tottenham until nine May, the third-to-last Premier League fixture. United lost 2-1 at home to Spurs in October, their first home league defeat for more than a year, and have since won five league matches while losing only twice since the start of December.
