Tottenham Hotspur struck out in their pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani after the Frenchman opted to join Juventus over heading to the Premier League this January transfer window.
The 26-year-old forward has struggled to make a strong impact during his first two seasons with PSG, leading to growing speculation about a possible move this month.
Kolo Muani has managed just 453 minutes across all competitions this season and hasn’t established himself as a regular starter. Missing PSG’s last three matches of 2024 has only added to the questions about his role at the club.
TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, recently reported that Tottenham are ‘gutted’ after missing out on Kolo Muani. Despite missing out on one Ligue 1 player, Spurs are staying in France as they pursue an alternative option.

Tottenham are reportedly considering a move for OGC Nice striker Evann Guessand as they look to address the gap left by Dominic Solanke’s injury. According to TEAMtalk (via Give Me Sport), Nice have set a price tag of around £20 million for the forward.
With their league campaign falling short of expectations, Tottenham may be keen to secure Guessand to cover for Solanke and add depth to their wide options.
Give Me Sport recently reported that Guessand is one of three Ligue 1 targets on Tottenham’s radar, as Jonathan David and Rayan Cherki are the other two players.
