Tottenham want Andreas Schjelderup, spending could exceed 300 million euros | OneFootball

Tottenham have moved for Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup after his standout World Cup, and any deal could push their summer spend beyond 300 million euros.

Glorioso 1904 reports that Spurs have earmarked the Norway international to strengthen the left side after investing about 267 million euros on two midfielders and a centre-back.

Talks over a new contract with Benfica have not produced an agreement, which keeps open the possibility of a transfer in this window. Rival Premier League interest includes Liverpool and Chelsea.

Benfica are seeking around 40 million euros for Schjelderup. The club view the winger as one of their highest-upside assets, especially after his excellent 2026 World Cup.
