Transfer column: Wolves, West Brom Josh Maja latest and Aston Villa Morgan Rogers claim | OneFootball

With the Premier League and EFL seasons complete, transfer manoeuvres are taking shape for Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Rangers are not expected to pursue a deal for Wolves loanee Nasser Djiga after his season in Scotland. He featured regularly before a late slump drew criticism as their title push faded.

Wolves will assess Fer Lopez ahead of next season in the Championship, despite the midfielder and Celta Vigo signalling a wish to stay in La Liga. The club are also among those said to be monitoring Brighton winger Solly March, who will leave as a free agent this summer.

At Albion, 32-year-old loanee Charlie Taylor has completed his season and is not expected to be offered new terms at Southampton. He made 20 starts and eight substitute outings as Albion avoided the drop.

Josh Maja has a contract offer on the table at Albion, while Celtic and Rangers have been linked with the striker. He made 43 appearances and scored six, after hitting 10 in 16 early in the previous campaign.

Arsenal are believed to be stepping up interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers after a breakout run that saw Villa win the Europa League and secure a Champions League return. Preliminary talks with his representatives are understood to have taken place, and any deal has been valued at up to £116m.

Valencia are set to revive their pursuit of Villa’s Andres Garcia. Signed in January 2025, the attacker has eight starts and 10 substitute appearances in 16 months, and this season logged 109 minutes across eight matches after a January move was turned down.
