Mohamed Salah
Liverpool has a plan to cope with Mohamed Salah's absence during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. A Ghanaian star is now on the Reds' radar.
Liverpool are preparing a major move in the winter transfer window. The English club is looking to bolster its attacking line and has made Antoine Semenyo their top priority. The Bournemouth winger, who has had an impressive start to the season, is high on the Reds' shortlist, with the club ready to match a fee estimated at around €70 million.
The Ghana international, who is under contract until 2030, has already netted 6 goals and provided 3 assists in just 11 matches. He made a statement with a brace at Anfield on the opening day. Mohamed Salah will join Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations, and Liverpool sees Semenyo as the ideal solution to fill the void during his absence.
