The summer transfer window is officially open, handing Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United the chance to get a deal or two over the line before the start of pre-season. The Gunners are interested in Morgan Rogers and are believed to have made contact for Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. However, with both players at the World Cup, ultimately it's a waiting game.

The Premier League champions are exploring a deal for Christos Tzolis but face competition from Liverpool for Bradley Barcola, who could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Man United, meanwhile, are closing in on the signing of Ederson with the midfielder reportedly undergoing a medical for his £34.9million move. A deal for Mateus Fernandes, though, looks less likely with West Ham standing firm on their £80m asking price stance they are not under any pressure to sell.

One player set to leave London is Marc Cucurella after Real Madrid struck an agreement with Chelsea for the left-back to become the first signing of Jose Mourinho's second spell in charge. Elsewhere, Tottenham have wrapped up a deal for Pedro Porro after landing both Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, and they remain keen on Jan Paul van Hecke. Amorim to provide cash boost for Man Utd

Ruben Amorim is closing in on his first job since leaving Manchester United, thus saving his former club millions of pounds.

Amorim has been out of work after being sacked as Man United head coach on January 5, 2026, with his five coaches also leaving Old Trafford.

His exit, after 14 months in charge at Old Trafford, was confirmed hours after launching a public attack on Man Utd's hierarchy following a 1-1 draw at Leeds.

Financially, the decision to part company with Amorim was an expensive one, with suggestions it could end up costing the club almost £16million.

Crucially though, it was reported the maximum amount of £15.9m was dependent on certain factors, such as 41-year-old Amorim getting a new job within a specific timeframe.

Spurs reject Vuskovic bid

Tottenham appear to have rejected Brighton’s bid for Luka Vuskovic.

Standard Sport was among the outlets to report on last week that Spurs had received a £30m offer from their Premier League rivals for the highly-rated young Croatian defender, who has impressed this season on loan at German club Hamburg.

Vuskovic was believed to be open to moving to the Amex Stadium as he looks to secure regular first-team football for next term.

However, according to talkSPORT, Tottenham have now turned down Brighton’s initial approach for the 19-year-old centre-back, who they say is also wanted by European heavyweights such as Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus.

Arsenal fans make Bouaddi demand

Arsenal fans have urged the club to go “all out” to sign Ayyoub Bouaddi this summer after his spectacular World Cup debut.

The 18-year-old Lille sensation defied his total lack of experience on football’s biggest global stage to deliver an extremely accomplished performance as Morocco drew 1-1 with Brazil in Saturday’s Group C curtain-raiser in New Jersey.

Bouaddi's terrific display was one of the major talking points from the game, with Arsenal supporters imploring the reigning Premier League champions to bring him to the Emirates Stadium - and fast.

Man Utd and Arsenal sent Mateus Fernandes transfer warning

Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a warning in their pursuit of Mateus Fernandes, with West Ham under no pressure to sell for financial reasons.

Standard Sport understands the Hammers have set an asking price of £80m for the 21-year-old, with the reason for the valuation down to an internal belief that he can develop into a world-class player within the next two years.

United are among the clubs that hold a concrete interest in Fernandes, though Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also been touted as potential destinations for the ex-Southampton midfielder.

It had been suggested that West Ham need to recoup more than £100m in player sales this summer to balance the books after suffering relegation from the Premier League.
