Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are making some big moves in the transfer market as the January window approaches its final week. Ahead of the deadline on February 2, Arsenal are said to have held talks over a blockbuster move for Julian Alvarez, who could reportedly move for around £80million, and are also keeping tabs on wonderkids Victor Valdepenas, Iago Machado and Vasilije Kostov.
Chelsea want Douglas Luiz on loan and are working to sign Jeremy Jacquet and pip Manchester United to youngster Yisa Alao, as well as plotting a move for Ibrahim Mbaye. They are now reported to be interested in taking Real Madrid starlet Franco Mastantuono on loan, too. Speculation continues over the future of Cole Palmer, with sensational reports claiming he may want to move to Old Trafford where Man United continue to work on a midfield overhaul.
Tottenham remain in negotiations to sign Andy Robertson, though Liverpool may not be keen to sell after Joe Gomez was injured last night. could make a first bid for Yan Diomande as a successor to Mohamed Salah and are keen on a big-money deal for Micky van de Ven.
