Transfer news LIVE!
Chelsea took a huge step towards a crucial transfer target on Saturday, with reports claiming a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens is all but complete. The player is due to undergo a medical in the United States imminently. It would be the second major attacking signing of the summer for the Blues, after they brought in Liam Delap earlier this month. They are also said to be weighing up moves for Alejandro Garnacho and Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and have also been offered the chance to sign Emi Martinez.
Arsenal are looking to wrap three deals over the coming days, with Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga having undergone medicals, and talks with Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera progressing well. There is ongoing interest in Benjamin Sesk, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze for attacking reinforcements.
Manchester United have again won the race to sign Bryan Mbeumo, amid rival interest from Tottenham, but Brentford have rejected a second bid, worth £62.5m. Spurs could move on to Crystal Palace star Eze with Bournemouth demanding £70million for Antoine Semenyo. Kota Takai is set to become Thomas Frank's first signing. Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Milos Kerkez and are now plotting a stunning bid for Alexander Isak as Darwin Nunez heads for the exit. The Crystal Palace defender is among the hottest properties on the market for the third transfer window running. Newcastle saw four bids for the player rejected last summer, and Tottenham also came close to a deal in January.

In an emotional farewell statement posted to his social media channels, he wrote: “This choice to move on was not simply about me. - it was a decision my family and I spent a long time considering together. We believe it’s the right moment to seek a new challenge and continue growing.
“I’m deeply proud of what we’ve shared, fighting for this club when it mattered most.”

Chelsea hope to sign Joao Pedro in time for him to appear at the Club World Cup.
Clubs can register players for the tournament as late as July 3, giving the Blues four days to get the deal over the line.
Reports claim that talks are ongoing, and that Pedro is keen on the move.
The timeframe is not thought to be a dealbreaker for Chelsea, though, who are content to wait on the player, but hope he can join up with the squad in the United States.
