The World Cup is dominating the headlines, but that hasn't slowed down the rumour mill. Here are the best of Thursday's transfer rumours.
Manchester City will need to break the British transfer record to sign Elliot Anderson. After Nottingham Forest snubbed an offer that could rise to £120m with add-ons, the Cityzens now need to enter unprecedented territory. According to The Guardian, Forest want more than the £125m fee that Liverpool paid to sign Alexander Isak last summer - and all of it guaranteed.
Across town,Manchester United are among the clubs checking in on Iliman Ndiaye. The Senegalese forward is stalling on a new deal at Everton, who could entertain offers upwards of £60m. Sky Sports say Ndiaye is on the club's shortlist of multi-functional forward options.
Liverpool are considering a move forParis Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery. The European champions have no plans to sell the 20-year-old, though Zaire-Emery has concerns over his playing time. El Nacional claim that Liverpool are ready to test PSG's resolve with an €85m (£73.3m) offer.
The Reds could raise that cash by sellingFederico Chiesa. The Italian's failed to make an impression at Anfield and has openly suggested he's ready to return to Serie A. Interested clubs will need to cough up £17m, report Caughtoffside.
Leeds United are ready to break the bank to make Ousmane Diomande their statement summer signing. Fresh from consolidation in the Premier League, The Whites are willing to pay a club record £43m for the Sporting centre-back. Portugal's A Bola claim that Daniel Farke's side are moving swiftly, amid competition from Chelsea, Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Newcastle.
Elsewhere, newly promotedPremier League sides Coventry City and Hull City are considering moves for Callum Wilson. The veteran goal-getter scored seven times despite limited minutes as West Ham were relegated from the top tier last season.
Finally,Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has reportedly agreed personal terms with Juventus. The Italian side want to sign a senior shot-stopper, and have turned to the Argentine after interest in Liverpool's Alisson was rebuffed. Corriere dello Sport say the World Cup winner is open to the move.
