The rumour mills rumbles on and today's transfer talk features some massive names.
Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Julián Álvarez from Atletico Madrid. The ex-Manchester City striker is keen to quit Atleti, with Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain all in pursuit.
According to Spain-based Argentinean journalistMarcos Duran, Manchester United have made direct contact with the player's agent to discuss a deal. Atletico rejected a €150m offer from Real Madrid earlier in the transfer window.
Having seen that club-record bid snubbed, Real Madrid remain intent on making a mega-money signing. The Spanish side are ready to table an opening offer of around £100m forEnzo Fernandez, having agreed personal terms with the Chelsea midfielder. Nicolo Shira says a bid is imminent, though Chelsea want £120m.
Another midfield man in demand isFelix Nmecha. Currently impressing in the German midfield at the World Cup, clubs are queuing up to express interest. However, Borussia Dortmund are under no pressure to sell and Goal report the Bundesliga side have slapped a €100m asking price on the player.
AC Milan are continuing to pursue Nicolas Jackson, as Ruben Amorim seeks a centre-forward, or two. Alongside interest in Goncalo Ramos, Milan are monitoring Jackson's situation at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are open to his exit for a €60m fee, report Corrierre dello Sport.
Tottenham Hotspur have Marcus Rashford in their sights and are ready to showcase their new-found ambition with a move. TEAMtalk tell us that Spurs are ready to shatter the club's current wage structure to sign Rashford, who takes home £325,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
NewBournemouth boss Marco Rose wants to beef up his midfield by signing Richard Rios. The Colombian has a long list of suitors, including Manchester United and Fulham in recent windows, with Bournemouth now ready to make a move. Sport Witness claim a bid for the Benfica man is imminent.
Finally, Atletico Madrid are closing in on an exciting double deal.
