Trevoh Chalobah tells fan to relax after Leeds United jibe | OneFootball

Trevoh Chalobah has hit back at a suggestion he could join Leeds United after Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final win. The defender had been filmed shushing the Leeds end at Wembley following the final whistle.

According to Leeds Live, a supporter on X mocked Chalobah and claimed he would be at Leeds next season. The Chelsea centre-back replied, "Na you need to relax, even your shadow don't believe you."

Chelsea reached the final with a 1-0 victory, Enzo Fernandez heading the winner in the first half. Around 34,000 travelling Leeds supporters were at Wembley, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez impressed for the Blues.

Leeds had been viewed by many as outside favourites to make a first final since 1972-73. They had beaten Chelsea 3-1 at Elland Road and rallied from two down to draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge in February.

After the match, Daniel Farke said the occasion brought pressure and his players were not as composed on the ball as in recent games. He felt some build-up play was clumsy or lacked bravery, and that it was not their best day, though they were not played off the park.

Farke added that the experience should help them approach their next big game with more confidence. Leeds now turn to the Premier League run-in, hosting already relegated Burnley on Friday, then Tottenham on May 11, Brighton on May 17 and West Ham at the London Stadium on May 24.
