Two fixtures caught everyone out, Atlético-MG’s win over Palmeiras and Santos drawing with Chapecoense. Nine tipsters went for the Peixe, the slip cost them points. No one backed the Galo to beat the Verdão.

The only match that delivered points for all was Athletico-PR’s victory over Internacional. Remo’s triumph against Vitória also paid off, with seven correct calls.

Five panellists foresaw the stalemate between Grêmio and Fluminense. The same number predicted Vasco would draw with Mirassol.
