In Athens, Roma secured their place in the Europa League round of 16.
Kostas Tsimikas was a key figure: first, he supported Gian Piero Gasperini in the press conference, then he played an excellent match after a period of less than stellar performances.
Precisely for this reason, it seemed the Greek might leave the capital for a return to Anfield, but the matter has been stalled.
Now, according to French transfer expert Santi Aouna, a Turkish team has made an offer for Roma’s number 12.
Besiktas have reportedly reached an agreement with Tsimikas.
If the Bianconeri decide to make the move, the player would return to Liverpool, and the Reds would then negotiate his transfer.
However, he’s not the only player on the list.
In fact, the Turkish club has also reportedly reached an agreement with Lazio’s Nuno Tavares.
Besiktas will decide in the next few hours who to sign, but time is certainly running out, and Roma should add the search for a replacement to their to-do list.
