Türkiye hero Merih Demiral has been handed a two game ban by UEFA, which will see him miss the quarter final clash with Netherlands plus a potential semi final should they reach it.
The former Juventus centre-back scored both of his side's goals as they beat Austria 2-1 in the last 16 of the competition, writing himself into Turkish footballing legend in the process.
However, his celebration attracted controversy, with the defender opting to celebrate by giving the "wolf salute", a symbol of Turkish far right group "Grey Wolves".
Given that UEFA's regulations state that no political signals can be made during the tournament on or off the pitch, he was always likely to be in trouble and the organisers have opted to hit him with a two game ban, which will come as a major blow to his nation's hopes of progressing.
They face the Netherlands at 8pm on Saturday in Berlin.
