Morocco and Mali will battle it out for a spot in the quarter-finals of the U17 World Cup.

This all-African showdown is set for Tuesday, November 18, kicking off at 3:45pm GMT.

The two sides have locked horns three times in the past two years, whether in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations or the U17 World Cup.

In 2023, the Young Lions edged out the Eaglets in the U17 AFCON semi-finals on penalties (6-5) after a goalless draw in regular time.

Later that same year, they faced off in the U17 World Cup quarter-finals, where Mali clinched victory by the narrowest of margins.

Most recently, the two teams met in the final of the latest U17 AFCON edition. Morocco triumphed again on penalties (4-2) after another goalless stalemate (0-0).
