Top 10 highest-rated players of the U17 World Cup group stage

Reigan Heskey/@The Sun
The U17 World Cup has always been a breeding ground for talent and a launching pad for a promising football career. Many of today’s football stars have made their mark here, and those currently shining on this stage could well become the icons of tomorrow.
Morocco put their faith in defender Bilal Soukrat against New Caledonia after conceding eight goals in their first two outings. That decision paid off handsomely, as the Lion Cubs stormed to a 16-0 victory, overturning their goal difference deficit and securing a place in the round of 16 among the best third-placed teams.
The centre-back, who plays for RS Berkane’s youth team, earned a perfect 10 rating on specialist site Sofascore for his performance in that match. He currently leads the rankings ahead of England’s Reigan Heskey (8.83), Argentina’s Thiago Yanez (8.70), Italy’s Samuel Inacio (8.43), and New Caledonia’s Nicolas Kutran (8.37).
