Yan Couto, Ramy Bensbaini, Jobe Bellingham, Julian Brandt and Maximilian Beier have made it into the starting eleven. Pascal Groß, Marcel Sabitzer, Niklas Süle, Julian Ryerson and Karim Adeyemi will start on the bench

+++ 18:29 CEST: The clock is ticking  +++The ball will be rolling tonight at Parken Stadium, which seats 38,065 spectators. It was opened in 1911 under the name Copenhagen Sports Park and has had a retractable roof since 2001. To get to the stadium, you have to drive to the Østerbro district in north-west Copenhagen. We are already there, and the team will be arriving shortly, hopefully to secure the next points in this Champions League season.

+++ 15:09 CEST: Impressions from Copenhagen +++Copenhagen (København in Danish) is located on the east coast of the island of Zealand and is the capital of Denmark. The city has around 650,000 inhabitants and is the political, economic and cultural centre of the country. Copenhagen is known for its blend of historic charm and modern architecture, its bicycles, its lively harbour front and the famous ‘Little Mermaid’ statue.

+++ 09:09 CEST: Good morning (still) from Dortmund +++The Black & Yellows are ready to embark on their second away trip of the new Champions League season today, travelling to FC Copenhagen tomorrow evening. The final training session will take place at noon at the club's training ground in Dortmund-Brackel. In the afternoon, the Eurowings team Airbus will take off from Dortmund Airport bound for Denmark. BVB coaches Niko Kovac and Daniel Svensson will then head to the press conference at Parken Stadium (live on BVB-TV from 19:30 CEST).

+++ 11:30 CEST: Referee from the Netherlands +++Before Borussia complete their final training session in just over two hours, we already have some information about tomorrow evening: Dutchman Danny Makkelie will referee the match between Copenhagen and BVB. The 42-year-old police officer from Dordrecht has been refereeing in the Dutch Eredivisie since 2009. He has been a full-time referee since 2010 and has been on the FIFA list since 2011. He has refereed 44 international matches and 53 UEFA Champions League matches to date. This will be his seventh time refereeing BVB, more than any other German club. In these matches, Dortmund have recorded four wins (against Sporting in 2016, in Bruges in 2018, against Inter in 2019 and in Seville in 2021) and two defeats (against Tottenham in 2019 and at Chelsea in 2023). The entire team, including VAR Pol van Boekel, comes from the Netherlands.

+++ 13:30 CEST: Final training session +++No sooner have the first players stepped onto the pitch in Dortmund-Brackel than it starts to drizzle. But it's not cold on this Monday morning – the thermometer reads around 16 degrees Celsius as Niko Kovac addresses his players to start the final training session before the away game against FC Copenhagen. The first 15 minutes, which are open to the media, consist of warm-up and passing drills. Behind closed doors, coach Niko Kovac then works with his players on fine-tuning their preparations for the match.

+++ 16:15 CEST: Players arrive at the airport +++The Borussia players have arrived at the airport. The team Airbus EW 1909 is scheduled to take off for Copenhagen with the BVB delegation at 17:15. The estimated flight time is one hour and 15 minutes. This is the squad.

+++ 16:20 CEST: Media round +++Before departing for Copenhagen for the third Champions League match of the season, Sebastian Kehl answered questions from the media. ‘It will be an emotional atmosphere tomorrow evening.
