PSG made a strong impression in the UEFA Champions League this past season, putting in solid performances against Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal. That run could help boost the club’s appeal to Premier League players, especially as more English talent considers moves abroad.
Back in January, CaughtOffside reported that PSG was keeping tabs on Morgan Rogers. The winger’s showings against Manchester City, Newcastle, and Brighton are said to have caught the attention of PSG scouts.
Rogers’ speed, footwork, and creativity have reportedly made him a standout. However, Aston Villa are not looking to sell.
According to The Independent, Chelsea have also added Rogers to their list of summer targets. The 22-year-old is enjoying a breakout campaign in the Premier League, and his stock continues to rise.

Aston Villa have no plans to entertain offers for Morgan Rogers this summer, according to former chief scout Mick Brown. He told Football Insider that Unai Emery is confident Rogers will stay at the club beyond the transfer window.
“Aston Villa want to keep hold of Rogers,” Brown said. “I’m not surprised the top clubs are looking at him, because he’s been excellent. Having been called up by England and featuring heavily for them, it always increases the eyes on his performances and the clubs who are interested.
“His profile and the level of interest in him has gone up. Ultimately, though, he got into the team through his performances for Villa. They’re confident they can keep hold of him, even with these financial issues they’ve got.
“He plays such a key role in Unai Emery’s team, I don’t think he or they have any interest in letting him go any time soon. There are plenty of other players they could sell before they look at him.”
