LaLiga giants Barcelona signed Roony Bardghji in the summer of 2025 for the fee of €2.5m. After only one year, the Swedish talent could leave the Catalan capital in the summer.

As per a report from Spanish outlet AS, Bardghji is not happy with his playing time and a loan could be a real option. Barcelona on the other hand still value their winger highly but are willing to let him leave.

In this season, Bardghji doesn’t play a huge role in the squad of Hansi Flick and mostly helped the team after being subbed on. In total, the Swedish international played 25 games scoring two goals and assisting in another four. However, he only spent 721 minutes on the pitch, which is equal to about half an hour per game.

“He is a fantastic professional, it’s not an easy situation for him, he expects more minutes, but sometimes that’s just how it is.”, Hansi Flick answered after being questioned about the situation of the 20-year-old winger.

For Bardghji, the end of the season could turn out to be the most important part for him personally. After the injury news regarding Lamine Yamal, Hansi Flick is forced to replace the superstar on the right wing. That’s where the attention could come to Bardghji. However, his future will be decided in the summer transfer window.
