Valencia and the rest of the top flight will discover the 2026/27 LaLiga schedule on 30 June in Madrid. The league's start date remains unresolved.
According to Superdeporte, the RFEF board has approved holding its General Assembly at the Ciudad del Fútbol at 12:00 to close 25/26, with the calendars to be presented from 19:00 at Plaza de Colón, home to Plaza Selección.
The event will simultaneously reveal fixtures across all RFEF official competitions, covering men's and women's football and futsal. Valencia will learn their opening-day opponent and the rest of their fixtures that evening.
With no final agreement between LaLiga and the AFE, the opening weekend is still to be set. The timetable is shaped by the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada and LaLiga's broadcast commitments.
The AFE is pushing for matches to begin on the weekend of Sunday 23 August. LaLiga favours a 14 August start, 10 days earlier, while the union cites player health and respect for holiday periods, especially for those who might reach the latter stages of the tournament.
