Valencia's squad valuation has slumped, mirroring a mediocre season, after Transfermarkt updated figures today.
According to AS, the club were among the hardest hit by the refresh.
The overall drop is 4.3% since the previous update, the widest in La Liga except Athletic's 6.6%. In absolute terms the squad total falls from 171 million euros to 163.6 million.
Eight players have been marked down. Tárrega and Diego López, both currently substitutes, fall from 15 to 12 million, the steepest individual declines. Other regular substitutes, Almeida from 9 to 7.5, Santamaría 4.5 to 3, and Raba 2.5 to 1.5, also drop.
Long-term absentees are reduced too, with Diakhaby from 2.8 to 2 and Foulquier from 1.2 to 1. Guido Rodríguez moves from 6 to 5 million despite his rehabilitation in Valencia.
Only four players rise, Copete from 4 to 5 million, Eray Cömert 2 to 2.5, Jesús Vázquez 3 to 4, and Ramazani 6 to 8.
