Valentin Rongier back for Rennes trip to Lens, Przemyslaw Frankowski still out

Valentin Rongier returns to the Stade Rennais squad for Saturday's Ligue 1 trip to Lens on matchday 21, kick-off 17:00. As reported by L'Équipe, head coach Habib Beye can call on the midfielder again.

He was absent for the 0-4 at Monaco last Saturday and the 0-3 at Marseille in the Coupe de France on Tuesday.

Right wing-back Przemyslaw Frankowski, also nursing a calf issue like Rongier, will again be absent, as will Glen Kamara after a heavy ankle sprain suffered at the Vélodrome.

Recent signing Arnaud Nordin is in contention for a first inclusion in the matchday squad.

There is also doubt over midfielder Djaoui Cissé with an adductor problem and forward Yassir Zabiri with a quadriceps issue.
