Vasco visit Corinthians on Sunday in the Brasileirão, aiming to end a 15-game winless away run, their longest against any current Série A side. They also cross paths again with Fernando Diniz.

According to Globo.com, Vasco's last away victory over Corinthians in São Paulo came in 2007, a 1-0 win at the Pacaembu sealed by Alan Kardec in the 37th round. That campaign ended in Corinthians' relegation.

Vasco, managed by Renato Gaúcho, kick off at 16:00 Brasília time at the Neo Química Arena. They have never won at the venue, with nine meetings since its 2014 opening producing seven home wins and two draws.

Across those games, Vasco have scored only two goals, both in 3-1 defeats in 2023 and 2024. The most recent meeting finished 0-0 in the first leg of last year's Copa do Brasil final.

This sequence matches Vasco's 15-game away drought against Grêmio, whose last home defeat to them came in 2006. It also edges their 14-game barren run at Athletico-PR, where Vasco last won in 2007.
