Vasco da Gama are one signature away from landing Atlético Nacional forward Marino Hinestroza after seeing off competition from Boca Juniors.

Ge reports that the deal is worth US$ 5 million, about R$ 30 million, for 80% of the 23-year-old’s economic rights.

Atlético Nacional accepted because they will retain 20% of the player’s rights, banking on a future sale that proved more appealing than the Argentine offer.

Documents are being exchanged and the expectation is for the contract to be signed on Tuesday 20, which would allow Hinestroza to travel to Rio de Janeiro in the coming days for medical checks and a presentation.
