André Ricardo and Lucas Eduardo are training separately as Vasco weigh their futures, according to Globo.com.
With the domestic window shut, the out-of-favour duo work in alternate slots at CT Moacyr Barbosa while they look for new clubs.
Once a leading academy prospect, André, 20, renewed in October 2024 with a €60 million clause, worth 364 million reais at current rates, but has not established himself.
He spent last year on loan with Fortaleza’s under-20s, playing 23 times and scoring six. His deal runs to the end of 2026, and Vasco hold an option for a further three years.
Midfielder Lucas did not get minutes for Vasco’s seniors, taking 2025 loans to Cuiabá and Avaí for seven appearances in total, one and six respectively. He is contracted until January 2027.
Now 21, he has aged out of the under-20s and awaits a decision. He has four first-team outings for Vasco, all in the Campeonato Carioca.
After the Fifa window, Vasco face a busy April and May, at least 16 fixtures, eight in the Brasileirão, six in the Copa Sudamericana group stage and two in the Copa do Brasil fifth round. Renato Gaúcho’s side return on one April at Coritiba, at Couto Pereira, in Campeonato Brasileiro round nine.
