Vasco Sousa is back home after surgery on a new right fibula fracture sustained in Moreirense's 0-4 defeat to Benfica in December.
According to O Jogo, the FC Porto midfielder spent Christmas at CUF hospital in Porto. He started rehabilitation on Saturday at CTFD Jorge Costa after 39 days in hospital and 21 trips to the operating theatre.

His partner, Joana Guise, shared an emotional social media video charting his recovery, describing him as a hero and an example of resilience.
Sousa fractured his right fibula in the closing minutes of the first half of Moreirense v Benfica in the 14th round of the I Liga.
He had broken the same bone in February, then during a Porto match against Farense.
