Victor Ferraz eyes retirement in 2026 as Serra Branca prepare for Série D | OneFootball

Victor Ferraz is expected to end his playing career in 2026, with the 37-year-old now a leading figure at Serra Branca as the club prepare for a Série D debut.

He won state titles with Santos in 2015 and 2016 and with Grêmio in 2020 and 2021. His Brazilian career has included spells at Atlético-GO, Bragantino, Coritiba, Náutico and Chapecoense in 2023.

Born in João Pessoa, he played the Campeonato Paraibano for the first time this season, making 10 appearances and scoring two goals for Serra Branca, securing a national calendar for 2026. "I am nearing the end of my career and it would be very nice to finish it with a title for Serra Branca."

The Campeonato Paraibano is scheduled from 17 January to 22 March. He also plans to play in the Copa do Brasil, due to start in February, and has not yet confirmed whether he will feature in Série D, which begins in April.
