Valencia have made Víctor júnior’s move permanent, exercising their purchase option before the season’s end. The 18-year-old joins from Levante for 100,000 euros on a three-year contract after spending the campaign on loan.
Fabrizio Romano reported that the clause was triggered on Wednesday. He added that the breakout youngster in Spanish football in 2025/26 had drawn interest from clubs in Portugal’s top flight and from LaLiga Hypermotion.
Born in Valladolid on 9 November 2007, he is the son of former Real Valladolid and Villarreal forward Víctor Fernández. A left-footed playmaker and winger, he can attack from either flank or operate off the striker.
Víctor júnior finished the season as the B team’s second-highest scorer behind Mario Domínguez. He was the leading under-21 scorer across all Spanish categories with 11 goals in Segunda RFEF Group 3, adding three assists, and he also scored one in the Premier League International Cup.
Valencia will reconvene in July and he will be among the academy players selected for first-team pre-season under Carlos Corberán. If his development continues as expected, next season could bring a LaLiga debut for the club. On Wednesday he also received the 'Jugar con Mayor Proyección' award at the 'Augusto Martínez, valores del deporte' gala in Paterna.
