Victor Kristiansen is among the Leicester City players expected to depart this summer, and a new route out has opened. TransferFeed reports that Panathinaikos, managed by ex-Copenhagen boss Jakub Nistrup, are considering a move for the left-back.

The report adds he is valued at around nine million euros, and five million pounds could be seen as a good deal. Panathinaikos are said to have concerns over the knee injury that kept him out for three months last season.

Leicester are reshaping for 2026/27 after relegation to League One, with sales required to bridge lost revenue. Abdul Fatawu is attracting interest around Europe, Jeremy Monga is being pursued by Arsenal and Caleb Okoli is among Fiorentina’s top targets.

Kristiansen, 23, joined from Copenhagen in January 2023 for about £17m. He was relegated with the Foxes from the Premier League, then spent the next season on loan at Bologna and helped them reach the Champions League.

Back at the King Power, he started 29 league games but did not secure a move last summer. In the Championship he featured only five times because of injury issues.

"Playing for Copenhagen, living in Copenhagen, playing European tournaments in Parken - it's probably the coolest thing you can do as a Danish footballer," he said, speaking to Viaplay in May.

"But it's also not a given that FCK (Copenhagen) will want me with new coaches and a missing sporting director. But no, I didn't sign with Leicester to be a League One player."
