There’s not much going on in the morning of a September international break on a Tuesday… except if you’re paying attention to England’s Under 17s.
Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has been emerging as a top tier talent in Chelsea’s academy in recent years, and he’s just announced himself on the international stage with 4 goals and 3 assists for the Young Lions against Germany.

The first one was just incredible, stuck on the edge of the box with no forward momentum, the energetic winger showed great burst from a standing position and quick feet to get a shot away with little space. A superb left footed effort whipped into the far side netting.

He and his teammates celebrated wildly – but things only got better. After slotting home a penalty and getting an assist, RKMQ found himself on the right of the box, this time almost on the touchline. After roasting his man once again, he shrugged off another challenge and clinically finished the chance from a tight angle.

At that point he had a first half hattrick, but he wasn’t done yet. At the start of the second half he was played in by a nice lobbed pass. Instead of cutting the ball back from a tight angle, he lofted it with the outside of his foot on the first touch.

In a crazy game which ended up 7-5 to England, Ryan stole the headlines, which is no mean feat.
