According to O Jogo, André Villas-Boas has been suspended for 10 days by the Portuguese Football Federation’s Disciplinary Council.
The case was opened by Sporting.
The sanction relates to comments he directed at Sporting president Frederico Varandas after the Portuguese Cup tie at Alvalade in early March.
Villas-Boas said Varandas had previously called the federation president, João Capela and Nuno Almeida thieves.
