Vinícius sends message to Kylian Mbappé after MOTM display vs Osasuna | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has taken to social media, to send a message of support and congratulations the way of teammate Kylian Mbappé.

This of course comes after the latter enjoyed a match-winning start to the new La Liga campaign.

Real Madrid kicked their 2025/26 season into gear on Tuesday night, in a meeting with Osasuna in Spain’s capital.

When all was said and done in new boss Xabi Alonso’s first home outing on the bench, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result.

And it was the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé who proved himself the game’s decisive figure.

After winning a spot-kick for his side during the 2nd-half, the Frenchman dusted himself down to convert confidently from 12 yards.

As much saw Mbappé pick up exactly where he left off last season, en route to clinching Pichichi honours.

And as alluded to above, the 26-year-old has since been the recipient of a message of congratulations on the part of an attacking partner-in-crime.

Taking to his official Instagram account in the aftermath of yesterday’s clash, Vinícius Jr. unveiled a photo of he and Mbappé celebrating, accompanied by the caption:
