Vitoria Calhau called up to senior women’s side, Emilly to under-20s

Coach Arthur Elias called up, this Friday (29), Vitoria Calhau of Cruzeiro for the training camp in Itu, São Paulo, from June 15 to 20. The center back was called up to replace her club teammate Tainara, who suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee.

Meanwhile, forward Emilly of Flamengo was called up by coach Camilla Orlando to join the Brazil Women’s U-20 National Team. The squad will play three friendlies against Finland, South Korea, and Portugal on June 3, 6, and 9, in Portugal. The player takes the place of fellow forward Gisele of Grêmio, who suffered a ligament injury to her left ankle.
