Only 33 days to go now until the Premier League season ends.

Only five full rounds of Premier League matches to go.

The question is, how high can Newcastle United finish in the Premier League?

This is how the Premier League table now currently looks (Tuesday 22 April 2025):

Not long to go but these next five Premier League matches are huge, that Newcastle United still have to play.

Home to Ipswich, away at Brighton, then Chelsea at SJP, before Arsenal away, then finally Everton at home.

If you had to put your mortgage/rent on it, what is your gut feeling on where Newcastle United will end up in this 2024/25 season?

We gave Newcastle United fans options of 2nd down to 10th, with Newcastle now not able to catch Liverpool, then realistically United set to finish somewhere above the bottom half of the table.

The votes are now counted and these are the collective results for Newcastle United fans who voted, where they believe United will finish in the Premier League:

2nd – 2%

3rd – 13%

4th – 42%

5th – 27%

6th – 13%

7th – 3%

8th – 0%

9th – 0%

10th – 0%

What these remaining five rounds of Premier League matches are all about, is who will join Liverpool and Arsenal in the Champions League places.

Five clubs competing for the final three CL spots.

So if we take the results from above, it is all about whether Newcastle United fans think NUFC will finish fifth or higher.

A resounding 84% of Newcastle fans who voted think that will be the case (predicting 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th), whilst 16% think United will miss out on Champions League (having predicted 6th or 7th).

The remaining Newcastle United match schedule:

Saturday 26 April – Newcastle v Ipswich (3pm)

Sunday 4 May – Brighton v Newcastle (2pm) Sky Sports

Sunday 11 May – Newcastle v Chelsea (12pm) TNT Sports

Sunday 18 May – Arsenal v Newcastle (4.30pm) Sky Sports

Sunday 25 May – Newcastle v Everton (4pm) – TV choices to be made after the 37th round of PL matches are completed.
