The Gunners could set a club record if they do not concede in Czechia

Slavia Prague manager Jindrich Trpisovsky has set his sights on breaking Arsenal’s clean sheet streak ahead of hosting the Gunners in the Champions League.

The Czech champions are yet to win in the Champions League this season, and Trpisovsky does not appear confident of earning any points against Mikel Arteta’s side, who he claimed are currently the best team in the world.

Arsenal visit Czechia on a run of nine consecutive wins and seven straight clean sheets, the joint-best streak in club history.

Speaking ahead of the tie, Trpisovsky acknowledged that Slavia have their work cut out for them.

"Of course, you don't have the chance to see all the teams in the world right now, but from my point of view, this is the best team with the best sporting form. The most balanced,” he said.

"Arsenal is really very complete and it's hard to find any (weakness). Plus, they have great player replacements. They are absolutely fine. They lead the Premier League, the best league in the world, and it shows in them.

“I would definitely say that they will be one of the best teams we have faced in that time.”

He continued, adding that he would be thrilled for Slavia to get on the scoresheet against the Gunners.

"It's a reward for the fans when you go up against such a giant that you might get a chance or that player scores a goal.

“(Slavia defender Jan Boril) keeps talking about how he scored against Barcelona. For those guys, that means a lot for their careers. So we'll try to do that."
