Brazilian defender Wesley scored a decisive goal for Flamengo last night, but now expects the green light to join Roma, the team he picked weeks ago.

Brazilian right-back Wesley wants to join Roma and is waiting for the final approval from his club to fly to Italy and join the Giallorossi.

As we’ve been reporting for weeks, Wesley has chosen Roma as his next club and now he’s only waiting for the green light to sign for the Giallorossi.

Wesley has remained committed to his club, Flamengo, until the very end, as he scored a vital goal against Bragantino last night, contributing to a 2-1 away victory.

The Brazilian is really close to joining Roma, especially after Flamengo pounced on Milan defender Emerson Royal, making a last-minute offer to beat competition from Turkish side Besiktas.

Roma have already signed central midfielder Neil El Aynaoui from Lens this summer and Evan Ferguson from Brighton. The latter has completed a loan move with an option to buy.
