Rosenior was sacked on Wednesday after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Brighton, and in his final post match interview he labelled the performance unacceptable and hit out at the players.
It’s also been reported privately that Rosenior felt there were too many “petulant children” in the squad, something which is hard to argue against.
Following the dismissal of Rosenior, Calum McFarlane has been placed in interim charge for the remainder of the season.
He faces a huge task to try and turn Chelsea’s fortunes around following a run of five consecutive defeats without scoring.
It was visibly clear there was a lack of effort from the players at the end of Rosenior’s reign, with accusations of certain players downing tools.
However, Fofana has insisted the club are united and fully together ahead of the huge game against Leeds at Wembley.
“Everyone wants to win games,” he told The FA.
“Everyone wants to win trophies, so everyone is concentrating on that and we’ll try everything for that.
“We’ve lost games, but we need to stay together. We need to stay focused because we have big things coming.”
