Ousmane Diakite has signed a one year extension at West Brom after an impressive run of form, keeping the midfielder at the club until 2027, with several team-mates out of contract this summer.

As reported by ExpressAndStar.com, Max O’Leary’s six month deal after a January free move from Bristol City ends this summer, while Jed Wallace, Josh Maja and Daryl Dike are also set to be out of contract. Dike’s injury-hit stay could end when the season finishes.

Josh Griffiths is tied down until next summer. In defence, Chris Mepham is contracted to 2028, Nat Phillips signed a three year deal last summer, Krystian Bielik has two more years, George Campbell runs to 2029 and Alfie Gilchrist agreed a four year deal last summer.

In midfield, Isaac Price is signed through 2029, Jayson Molumby to 2028 and Alex Mowatt to 2027. Youngsters Harry Whitwell, who inked a two year deal last summer, and Ollie Bostock, under contract until 2027, remain in the group.

Up front, Aune Heggebo is on a five year agreement that expires in 2030. January 2025 arrival Tammer Bany has had an injury-hit spell and is under contract until 2028.

Albion head towards the summer with key calls to make on expiring deals and a core secured on long-term terms.
