West Brom sign Felix Horn Myhre from Brann for initial £2.5m | OneFootball

West Brom have signed SK Brann midfielder Felix Horn Myhre for an initial £2.5m on a three-year contract. The fee could rise to £3.1m if all add-ons are met.

He becomes James Morrison’s seventh signing of the summer. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 27-year-old was a leading target for the head coach and is regarded as potentially among the most influential additions of Shilen Patel’s two-and-a-half-year ownership.

Myhre is Albion’s second successive summer arrival from Brann, following former team-mate Aune Heggebo’s £4.7m move last year. Morrison first took notice while assessing Heggebo’s performances for the Bergen side.

He has seven Norway caps. A creative, goalscoring midfielder, he made 181 appearances across five years for Brann, contributing 32 goals and 39 assists.

He signed off with a 3-2 win over Rosenborg on Sunday night before completing the switch.
