Albion fans have reacted with disgust to the Sky Blues' away ticket pricing
Many West Bromwich Albion supporters have reacted with disgust to Coventry City's ticket pricing for their Championship clash at the CBS Arena in November.
The amount being charged has been branded ‘disgraceful’ by Baggies fans, who have taken to X to vent their frustration.
It's worth noting that the same fixture last season saw a record attendance for a league match at the stadium, of 31,167 - when the Sky Blues secured their spot in the playoffs.
Going off the responses on social media, it's fair to say a lot of Baggies fans might not be making the trip this time...

From the official ticket details posted on Albion's website, Coventry are charging West Brom fans £45 for adults, £40 for seniors aged 65 and over, £40 for young adults aged 18-21, and £35 for under-18s when the sides meet on Saturday, November 22.
The Baggies have been allocated 2,815 tickets for the early kick-off in Warwickshire - and it's not the first time Coventry have attracted negative attention for their pricing of West Brom fixtures.
For the aforementioned same game in 24/25, the Sky Blues charged £37 for adults when the clubs met at the CBS Arena, despite West Brom having charged Coventry fans a maximum of £30 for the reverse fixture at The Hawthorns.
West Brom had reportedly requested Coventry lower their prices to match the reciprocal arrangement, but the request was declined.
One can only wonder how the club themselves will feel about adults being charged £8 more this time round.

It’s fair to say Albion’s social media erupted with criticism immediately after the ticket details were announced on Monday morning.
One fan highlighted the disparity between the away ticket pricing and West Brom's own season ticket offerings, posting that under-11s at The Hawthorns can secure a season ticket for just £23 through the club's 'Kids for a Quid' scheme.
Another described the pricing as "disgraceful" and suggested Coventry should be "ashamed" of their decision. The sentiment was echoed by someone else, who wrote that the Sky Blues are "taking the mick" by charging £35 for an under-18 ticket, branding it "disgraceful."
The backlash extended beyond simple price complaints, with one posting a tongue-in-cheek response suggesting fans should save their money rather than pay £45 to potentially witness a Brandon Thomas-Asante hat-trick.
All in all, no matter how good Coventry are doing this season, it's hard to argue with the reactions of Albion fans.
For a family of four - 2 adults and 2 children - it will set them back £160 without obviously adding in the cost of anything else. Going off the first tweet, (£23 season tickets for kids) that amount would nearly pay for seven kids to watch West Brom at home all season.
But given that the EFL has not followed the Premier League’s lead in implementing price controls, you can only see this number getting higher in the future.
